It was a beautiful Chateau in a magical setting.
I felt that the staff in the restaurant were very unfriendly, I did not like the food, it was highly processed and it was most unpleasant, also the music in the restaurant was very loud and was very unsuitable hip hop for a Chateau, it is such a pity that such a beautiful place has these drawbacks but with some tweaking things could be far more memorable.
I loved the beautiful grounds, the charming room and the efficient and professional staff. The hotel is unusual and has wonderful amenities!
The room I was in was a tad noisy - it seemed that there was noise from the kitchen until quite late. The food was enjoyable but not outstanding for the price. It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room for tea. But these are minor quibbles. Overall the stay was excellent and I would book there again on my next trip to France.
The location, the facilities available, the restaurant
Not having a room in the chateau, having to pay for the spa even though we didn't have time to use it
The room was another quaility and level that was on photoes on the web-site
The restaurant was excellent. The staff delightful. A great spot to recover from flight. Good location.
We had some trouble finding the Chateau. Directions from airport would have been great.
Comfortable room and good bathroom. And the spa facilities, which are excellent.
Staff tried to give lower grade room at check in, as I protested agreed to give rooms booked gave daughter room 6 as booked extremely nice room, but gave myself and wife far lower standard room 11 broken shower and rundown would not stay again.
On the occasion of a wedding, the outdoor cocktail reception was delightful, with superb staff and excellent food. The seated dinner inside was perfectly organized, with friendly and efficient waitstaff and good food.
Extremely well managed property with professional and friendly staff. Great quality food and fantastic 'petit dejeuner'.
Tip: Rent a car to avoid expensive taxi ride from/to Paris.
